Comments will be screened, and as always, feel free to ask questions as needed!
Note: When you make a submission, please use these submission forms. Also, please be careful to retain the formatting, so your comment looks like the samples... all you need to change is the capital letters that say INSERT____HERE. We will love you even more for doing this, because it will save us from having to do a lot of extra work to make the final post look right. ♥
We've been asked for an upper length limit for submissions, so here it is: please keep single submissions under about 4000 characters (not words). A little bit over isn't a big deal, but we both thought the old LJ character limit of 4300 characters for a single comment was a good gauge.
We feel that the first two quotes on this post represent a good guideline for submissions that are long without being too long. (There's a prose example there and a bulletin example.) Most submissions will, of course, be much shorter.
Special Note: Due to the transition between LJ and DW, we would like to encourage everyone to submit quotes that went up before February 1st, as well as those from the actual submission period. Quotes never have to be from the current submission period, but we thought that saying so would be especially relevant this time around.
